What is Mediation

Mediation, as used in law, is a form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), a way of resolving disputes between two or more parties with concrete effects. Mediation is an excellent way to resolve litigation and domestic cases. A mediator is a neutral that will help parties reach a resolution through the mediation, which is a confidential process. Parties may still be represented by his or her respective attorney through the mediation process.

The Indiana Rules of Alternative Dispute Resolution may be found here.
